There is a higher need for skilled labor than managers, according to surveys done to determine the need for trained personnel in the hotel industry. Hotels, restaurants, fast food restaurants, resorts, railroads, airlines, cruise lines, and other related businesses all need skilled workers to run their operations. In order to meet the demands of these companies, the National Council for Hotel Management offers five distinct trade certificates. These programs are well-liked by the student body because they immediately guarantee employment in the hospitality sector upon completion.
The foundational courses of Front Office Operation are the diploma programs. Students in the +2 system who have completed their 12th grade and have taken English as one of their subjects are eligible. After 1 years of the course, there will be 1years of industrial training. The courses are currently provided on an annual assessment structure that includes term-end exams at the end of the year. Midterm exams that combine theory and practicals are also given by the institutes.
